In a nod to its location in the heart of New York’s Flower District, the 349-room hotel, whose exterior was designed by Stonehill Taylor, will reimagine the “urban jungle” theme through a thoroughly modern take on botanically inspired design. Spanning the building’s front façade, a glass-enclosed conservatory with a lush, three-story living wall (think vertical garden) and greenhouse-style windows will flood the space with natural light, an urban holy grail.
