Hotel Business
The New York Hilton Hotel in Midtown Manhattan is undergoing a property-wide renovation of its guestrooms, with three types of premium suites—the Linear Suite, the Presidential Suite, and the Corner Suite making their debut. Each suite has views of Central Park as their backdrop.
Nearby landmarks—such as the Prometheus sculpture by Paul Manship at Rockefeller Center and the Seagram Building by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe—have informed Stonehill Taylor’s design of these suites. Inspiration was also found in the work of artists, such as dancer Martha Graham and painter Jackson Pollock, who rose to fame in the mid 20th-century and was supported by the hotel’s neighboring art institutions.
