Hotel Business Design

Kit Kemp has a unique perspective concerning The Whitby Hotel in New York City. Along with her husband, Tim, Kemp is co-owner of London-based Firmdale Hotels, which debuted The Whitby earlier this year, a sibling to the company’s Crosby Street Hotel in SoHo. And as she did with that hotel, she also designed the interiors of The Whitby, and again relied on the architectural expertise of New York-based Stonehill Taylor.
