The Camby Hotel

Phoenix, AZ

Originally a Ritz Carlton, the hotel’s classic bones were used as a canvas upon which to create The Camby’s new personality as a relaxed, playful approach to the luxury experience. The overarching design concept was “refined revelry”: remixing classic luxury, taking cues from the hotels elegant original bones and layering contemporary touches to create “look and look again” moments. The designers drew inspiration from Arizona’s 5C’s–cotton, cattle, citrus, climate and copper–in their use of materials throughout.

The hotel’s public areas include Artizen, a three-meal restaurant and bar complete with a private dining room and outdoor patio, a full-service wellness center, a rooftop pool and bar, and expansive meeting and event spaces. The 277 guestrooms and suites continue the same vibrant spirit with deconstructed four-poster beds, lighthearted art, and references to the colorful Arizona landscapes.
