Stonehill Taylor led the multi-million-dollar renovation of the Hilton Atlanta’s 1,249 guestrooms, public spaces, meeting rooms, and ballrooms, taking care to highlight the striking architectural intent of the original building. The design was inspired by the city’s incredible history and contemporary initiatives, honoring Atlanta’s connectivity and natural landscape. The restaurant and bar, Southern Elements, references the city’s surrounding landscape with forest green interiors and wood accents. Upstairs, the guestrooms and four types of apartment-style suites offer a wide range of options, all with large windows looking out onto remarkable views of the cityscape and greenery. The most extensive aspect of the renovation was the 129,000 SF second floor event spaces, where Stonehill Taylor extended the ceiling of The Salon Ball room by an additional 22-feet.
