The venerable Jumeirah Essex House Hotel (now called the JW Marriott Essex House NY) located on Central Park South underwent an extensive renovation and repositioning, which included work to the lobby, spa, and award-winning Southgate restaurant. Stonehill Taylor collaborated with restaurant designer Tony Chi, designing a glass wine display for the restaurant which were paired with rich natural materials to create a clean, contemporary setting. In addition, the existing spa was transformed to meet the property’s luxury standards.
