Stonehill Taylor was responsible for the redesign of the guest rooms, suites, and conference center for the 52-story Millennium Broadway Hotel, located in the heart of Times Square. Originally designed in the Art Deco style, Ownership wanted to introduce an East-West theme, resulting in the use of warm woods and tones, coupled with lush fabrics and patterns.
The new 14,000 square foot conference floor was designed for flexibility and can be set for boardroom-style meetings, seminar/classroom settings, cinematographic screenings, trade shows and group dining. As part of the renovation, Stonehill Taylor also rehabilitated the adjacent 1903 Hudson Theatre with an extensive array of innovative audio-visual, theatrical, and flexible seating installations. The restoration included new furnishings and carpeting as well as conservation work to uncover and restore the historic Louis Comfort Tiffany & Co detailing.
