Sitting atop the Refinery Hotel, the Refinery Rooftop is a year-round rooftop hangout with superb views of Manhattan and the Empire State Building. Maintaining the industrial-chic aesthetic from the hotel’s guestrooms, the space is notable for its raw elegance. The bar is divided into three sections: an intimate indoor lounge, the lively indoor-outdoor, and an expansive open-air terrace. The standout of the lounge area is the ceiling made from wood salvaged from the dismantled water tank previously at the top of the building. The indoor-outdoor main bar area also features salvaged French terracotta floors and a 1200 sq ft retractable skylight.
