Originally built as an extended stay hotel for artists, intellectuals, and literary figures, The Renwick (part of the Curio Collection by Hilton) underwent a complete renovation of the hotel’s lobby, guestrooms, and suites. Utilizing the hotel’s rich artistic history as a springboard for the design concept, the team crafted the loft-style, 173-guestrooms around the idea of a modern artist’s or writer’s studio. The public spaces are marked by bespoke design and hand-crafted elements, including art installations, light fixtures that double as sculptures, and quotes from famous artists and writers who frequented the hotel scattered throughout the space.
