As part of the extensive renovation and repositioning of the JW Marriott Essex House (formerly the Jumeirah Essex House), Stonehill Taylor collaborated with restaurant designer Tonychi Studios on the Southgate Restaurant & Bar. The restaurant was completely reconfigured to house two separate but connected spaces: a main dining area and a patisserie. Following the length of the main dining room, an astounding glass wine creates an impactful look. Stonehill Taylor also created a separate and distinct entrance for the restaurant from Central Park South.
