Located in the heart of Williamsburg, the Penny Hotel is a new hospitality concept–a hybrid of a hotel and housing for graduate students of Bard College. The 118-room hotel features an elongated brick façade resembling limestone for a contemporary touch. A unique component for Brooklyn is the square windows which give the exterior an elevated and sleek appearance. A playful lobby features pieces by local artists. The 11th floor is home to a rooftop bar offering indoor and outdoor spaces and two private terraces with striking panoramic views of the Williamsburg and Manhattan skylines, along with the East River. Serving as an oasis from New York with its lush jungle infusion, the terrace is a lively gathering space for family and friends to enjoy live music or a drink at the bar.
