Architecture
Stonehill Taylor served as Architect for the new Weill Cornell-Bright Horizons Child Care Center in conjunction with the Design Project Manager, Studio MLA. The project consisted in the interior gut renovation of the existing first floor space to become a 4,500 s.f. child care. The program configuration includes activities areas, reception, staff offices, teaching rooms and support spaces for children ranging from 0 to 6 years of age. The final design is responsive to the needs of the children and staff, creating an environment that enables the development of each child’s curiosity, potential, and growth, following the College and Bright Horizons’ standards.
