The 56-story Millennium Hilton, extensively damaged by the collapse of the World Trade Center directly across the street, was re-opened after a complete restoration, which included the plaza, façade, building infrastructure, public spaces, restaurants, conference center, pool and recreation facilities, and all 561 guest rooms.
