Moxy French Quarter

New Orleans, LA

Interior Design

One of Marriott Moxy’s first US properties, Moxy French Quarter engages the millennial traveler through a youthful design that incorporates modern art, technology, and local influences unique to New Orleans.  The first floor has been stripped down to reveal the existing concrete flooring, as well as the exposed pipe and duct work to give the first floor a raw, warehouse feel.  The space is layered with a faded floor stencil influenced by Spanish tile, and light fixtures with street lamp-inspired metal detailing, adding authentic French Quarter flare. Stonehill Taylor emphasized Moxy’s active, social, and autonomous experience with flexible work-play areas, including open meeting rooms, the library and lounge areas, and the central lobby bar.
