NYU Langone Medical Center Hospital for Joint Diseases Initiative for Women with Disabilities

NYU Langone Medical Center has relocated the Initiative for Women with Disabilities to a freestanding, independent building. The two story building with full basement provides a street level ADA accessible entrance with a centrally located reception and waiting area, as well as a flexible group room on the first floor. The elevator provides access to the exam/treatment rooms and administrative offices on the second floor. The staff office and support areas are located in the basement. The design theme connects the HJD design standards with feminine focused decor, providing an inspiring health and wellness center for women with disabilities.
