Stonehill Taylor renovated and expanded the operatory suites of the Hospital for Joint Diseases (HJD). Four existing O.R.s are being expanded, which will enable the hospital to treat more complex cases. The suites include new mechanical distribution, lighting, equipment, and anesthesia booms. A new sterilization room was constructed to increase throughput, and the equipment room was renovated to accommodate new, state-of-the-art technology. The operatory suites occupy a total of 5,000 s.f.
Additionally, as part of the greater RUSK Relocation initiative, Stonehill Taylor completed a phased renovation of the Departmental Offices for the Hospital for Joint Diseases. The scope of work included: Unit, support spaces, staff lockers and lounge, Rehabilitation Departmental offices and conference rooms.
